The purpose of this research is to measure the effectiveness of communication between accompanying staff and commission members in the Takalar Regency Regional People's Representative Council (DPRD). This study aims to analyze the role of accompanying staff in assisting commission members in carrying out their duties and functions, such as policy formulation, oversight, and budgeting. This study aims to identify factors that support and hinder the effectiveness of this communication, both for staff and commission members. This study aims to formulate strategic suggestions and recommendations to improve the effectiveness of communication and the performance of accompanying staff in the future. Essentially, this research focuses on the dynamics of internal communication within the regional legislative body and its impact on the smooth functioning of representatives. This study employed qualitative research methods. The results indicate that information delivery is sufficiently accurate, relevant, and timely. The accompanying staff can ensure that commission members receive the data, analysis results, and documents necessary for decision-making. This study also demonstrates the effectiveness of communication because staff can build trust and harmonious working relationships with council members through open and responsive interactions. This good coordination makes it easier for staff to bridge communication between council members, local government, and the community, and ensures that aspirations can be followed up effectively.References
